The aim of the Rausheena Udyog Limited is to reduce chronic malnutrition (stunting) in young children and to reduce anemia in women and young children in the targeted areas. To do this, the company took a strategic approach which involved not only the scale-up of direct interventions in the states, but also strengthening of the enabling environment, which included policy and advocacy work, capacity strengthening, and strengthening of information systems and use of data/evidence to drive decision making at the State and regional levels.
In the last 16 years we have served Food under Umbrella ICDS to more than 1 million children and Women across 7 different states. Central to our mission is the core belief that what you do and eat in the First 1000 days makes the difference for the rest of your life. We always believe that by helping mothers and babies get the right nutrition during the first 1000 days mainly from the start of pregnancy until her baby is three years old. Our product portfolio is mainly designed to deliver optimal nutrition to meet the specific needs during every developmental stage of the first 1000 days, and beyond. So, together with our partners, we have always advocated the importance of nutrition for infants and young children, including breastfeeding.
