It houses a multiplex- Cinepolis, and premium brands like Marks and Spencers, Sketchers, and various others in its complex.
India ranks 103rd out of 119 countries in 2018’s Global Hunger Index, a world-wide study that measures and tracks hunger at global, regional, and national levels. The key reason for the discrepancy: Agricultural food wastage. Some 194 million Indians go hungry every day, according to estimates by the United Nations’ (UN) Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). The organisation attributes this problem to massive food wastage – about US$14billion worth of food is wasted in India every year. In fact, the UN estimates that 40% of the food produced in India is wasted even before it reaches the consumer. This is due to the lack of infrastructure and storage facilities in the country. As it has been doing in the past, Rausheena group took this opportunity to serve the govt. and it’s people, and help in arresting the issue of grains wastage in the country.
The Rausheena Group is an authorized warehousing services provider. We provide warehouses that are capable of storing grains in Haryana. Rausheena Group’s warehouses are capable of encompassing 78 metric tonnes of food grains. We have twelve godowns constructed over 52 acres of land. Our warehouses are 100% automated and do not require any human intervention. We have the maximum capacity to store food grains in the state of Haryana.
It also started with a tender released by the Haryana government leveraging the PEG scheme. We decided to step into warehousing and have come as far as becoming the biggest in warehousing for food grains in Haryana. We closely work with FCI and meet their needs for storage. We aspire to build more warehouses around the already existing one to cater to the needs of food storage.
